When we sit down to watch a movie, we are always going to have some kind of expectation. Whether it\u2019s how the plot is going to pan out, or just the general feel of the film, we are always going to have something in mind that we are expecting to get from the film.<\/p>\n

As experts in transferring cine to DVD<\/a>, we know our stuff when it comes to films, especially watching them! With this in mind, we\u2019ve put together a short list of what audiences have in mind when it comes to what audiences expect when watching a film.<\/p>\n

Ambition<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen a lot of films before, so it\u2019s always good when a film maker has some ambition when it comes to the creation of a film. It makes watching a movie more interesting when something a little more has been added that wasn\u2019t expected.<\/p>\n

Go that extra mile for your viewers. Push the boundaries of what has already been done and achieved; your audience will appreciate it!<\/p>\n

Take Us on a Journey<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following on from ambition, we want a film that will take us somewhere that we have never been before.<\/p>\n

\"movie<\/p>\n

This can be a whole new place, being introduced to a new person or idea, or even a new technique. It just needs to be something that we haven\u2019t been exposed to before and feel refreshing and original.<\/p>\n

Make<\/strong> Us Feel Something<\/strong><\/p>\n

A good film makes people sit back and reflect on the emotions that they are feeling. You want to be able to make your audience pinpoint their emotions without manipulating them into thinking one way or another.<\/p>\n

\"Watching<\/p>\n

It does grow increasingly more difficult to accurately portray more complex emotions but conveying more simple emotional states such as sadness of fear is quite easy to achieve.<\/p>\n

Make it Fun and Surprising<\/strong><\/p>\n

Again, we\u2019ve seen so many films before, it will become increasingly more difficult to be surprised and excited about a film if it contains the exact same concepts as a film that has already been seen.<\/p>\n

We want a film that has us on the edge of our seats wondering what will happen next\u2026 and be surprised when it\u2019s not remotely what we are expecting!<\/p>\n

\"Thumbs-Up\"<\/p>\n

Originality is the key to a great film watching experience and sometimes it\u2019s the most anticipated films that don\u2019t realise this, which leaves us disappointed and let down.<\/p>\n
