Why do you splice 50ft and other small reels to make larger reels?

We generally splice 50ft and smaller reels of cine film, to form 400ft reels. This enables us to produce a smooth and efficient transfer of your cine film. This efficiency is just one of the reasons we are able to offer high quality frame by frame scanning at a competative price. When splicing your reels we will do so in a running order if one is indicated. The larger reels created will then be scanned as one file. If you require individual files from each 50ft reel please contact us before ordering.
