No one person pioneered cinema. In fact, the film industry has an extensive, not very clearly defined history, spanning many decades to get where we are now. The initial development of ‘moving pictures’ started out as a mere novelty and eventually developed into one of the most prominent entertainment mediums of the 20th century and onwards.
Once upon a time, cine film was the primary way to watch films. Families would gather together around the projector to watch the grainy footage of their lives as it flickered and jutted in front of their eyes. Whilst these memories may no doubt bring back wonderful feelings of nostalgia for some, it is no surprise that technology has long since moved past this, and for very good reasons.
It’s now easier than ever to track down long-lost relatives.
